ACTELION ltd and the integration of ANOTO DIGITAL PEN & PAPER technology
The swiss multinational company has integrated its Data Management system with Digital Pen & Paper technology to simplify and to get faster the CRF’s drafting for many registration studies.
The new technology has been slowly integrated step by step in Actelion Clinical Data Management system (C.A.D.P., developed by GM).
The first Pilot phase I using Digital Pen & Paper started in Germany in 2005.
At the moment there are 15 activated studies (Phase II/III/IV) in Europe/US/Australia, about 3.000 planned patients are foreseen in the activated studies and more than 1400 pens are deployed.
